What is Voltage?

Let's talk about Voltage, as many doesn't know what it is, now Voltage is a kind of “pressure” that drives charge via an electrical circuit.

Meanwhile the Bodies with opposite charges attract, a similar force on each other pulling them together. The magnitude of this force is accordant to the product of the charge on each mass. This are just like gravity, generally we use the word “mass” to represent the quality of bodies that results in the attractive force which pulls them together.

Still Electrical force, is a graveness, which also depends equally on the distance squared between the two bodies; short separation means big forces. Though it takes an opposing force to be suitable to keep the two charges of contrary sign piecemeal, just as it takes force to keep an apple from falling to earth. 

 Meanwhile it also takes work and expenditure of energy to be suitable to pull positive and negative charges piecemeal, just as it takes work to raise a huge mass against graveness, or to stretch a spring. This stored or implicit energy May be recovered and put back to work to do some useful task. nonetheless a falling mass can be suitable to raise a pail of water; a renouncing spring can pull a door shut or run a timepiece. Though it's requires many imagination to concoct ways one can hook on to the charges of contrary sign to get some useful work done, but it should be possible. likewise the eventuality which separated contrary charges have for doing work if they're released to fly together is called voltage, measured in units of volts( V). 

 Description of Voltage 

 Like i before define above that the “ Voltage is an Electromotive Force( pressure) or Implicit Difference Measured in volts ” 

 In Short Voltage = Pressure, measured in volts( V).

 Bear in mind that during the early days of electricity, Voltage was always known as Electromotive Force( emf). Generally it's why in early days formulas as Ohm’s Law, voltage which is represented by the E symbol. In moment's ultramodern world, it's represented by the symbol “ V ” or “ E “. 

 How is Voltage Measured? 

 Voltage is measured by the lesser the quantum of charge and with lesser the physical separation, the lesser the voltage or stored energy. Meanwhile know that the lesser the voltage, the lesser the force which is driving the charges together. 

 Meanwhile know that Voltage is always measured between two points, which is the positive and negative charges. Though if you wish to compare the voltage of several charged bodies, like knowing the relative force that's driving the colorful charges, it makes sense to keep one point constant for the measures. Locally, that common point is called “ ground “. 

 Now i know you'll be wondering how to tell if a particular bunch of charge is positive or negative? You ca n’t in insulation. Indeed with two charges, you can only tell if they're the same( they repel) or contrary( they attract). In the other hands the names are relative; numerous has to define which bone

 is “ positive “. also, the voltage which is between the two points A and B, VAB, is relative. Though if VAB is positive now you know that the two points are unequally charged, but you may not be suitable to tell if point A has positive charge and point B negative, or visa versa. 

 Meanwhile, if you make a alternate dimension between the A and point C, you perhaps suitable to tell if B and C have the same charge by the relative sign of the two voltages, VAB and VAC to your common point A. also you can determine the voltage between B and C without indeed measuring it VBC = VAC – VAB. This is the advantage of defining a common point, like A, as ground and making all voltage measures with respect to it. 

 still, also know that a positive VAB which means that the point B is appreciatively charged, by description, If someone further defines the charge at point A to be negative charge. Meanwhile the names and signs are all relative, and occasionally confusing if someone forgets what the reference or ground point is.
